Scooterpartsplace.com's limited warranty warrants scooters for 2 yr/24month/5000 miles (major parts and labor) from date of purchase. Our Labor warranty applies to scooters purchased and serviced locally by us. For internet out of state purchases we offer a 12month limited warranty (major parts only) from the day of delivery.
Limited warranty is for defects from the manufacturer only. Should purchaser have a part that needs replacing, they should immediately email us at info@Scooterpartsplace.com. We recommend that you contact a certified small engine mechanic to perform repairs on your vehicle. Any damages that occur due to misuse or improper care of the vehicle including but not limited to exceeding the weight limit (220 Lbs.), shipping damages, accidents, or gross misuse of normal intended operations are not covered under the warranty.
This product is not for use for children under 16 years old unless specified. This product is to be operated in accordance with all city, state, county, and federal laws. Always wear eye protection, a helmet, and protective clothing. Never carry passengers. And be particularly careful on difficult terrain. Never engage in stunt riding. Riding and alcohol/drugs don't mix. Avoid excessive speed. Remember to ride your scooter, atv or dirtbike using common sense and avoiding recklessness.
Operating a scooter, atv or dirtbike involves risks and dangers involving serious bodily injury. These risks and dangers also include but are not limited to paralysis, disability, dismemberment, and death. These inherent risks may be the result of purchaser's own actions or non-actions involving: themselves, others, or specific circumstances of the activity occurring, or the neglect or negligence of themselves and or others. There may be other risks known or unknown to Purchaser. Purchaser assumes all risks and fully assumes and accepts responsibility for events that may not be foreseeable including economic loss, social distress, losses, costs, and damages caused as a result of person's vehicle riding activities.
Purchaser understands the nature of riding motor vehicles and motorcycle riding activities and acknowledges that he or she is qualified to operate a scooter, atv or dirt bike as purchased from Scooterpartsplace. Person understands that they must abide by state laws and be in proper physical condition to ride a scooter. If purchaser is not familiar with operating a scooter, purchaser should seek professional training and be fully competent before riding their scooter. Purchaser is also responsible for inspecting and insuring motor vehicle before using it to make sure that the motor vehicle is safe to use and in riding condition. Scooter, ATVs or dirt bikes should be assembled by a licensed mechanic or warranty is void. Purchaser/mechanic is responsible for reconnecting any loose wires, bolts, and screws etc that have become disconnected during shipping. Scooter, ATVs and Dirt bikes are shipped in full working order. In the event a wire, screw or bolt has comes loose dealer will attempt to assist the customer in reconnecting the loose part but since dealer is not there to look at the scooter no promise is made of successful reconnection. In no circumstance shall a loose wire or screw or bolt be considered a reason for return of scooter, atv or dirtbike.
Laws vary from state to state, and Scooterpartsplace makes no guarantees or claims that the motor vehicle you purchase is legal for operation in your particular city, county, or state. If required in your city or state, purchaser is responsible to operate and register motor vehicle in accordance with state and local laws and ordinances. Every scooter comes with a Certificate of Origin; from the factory. This can be mailed after scooter is delivered and full name of owner and vin numbers from scooter, atv or dirt bike are mailed back to Scooterpartsplace. This is a document just like a car title. We can also provide a Bill of Sale. If you need one, email us at info@Scooterpartsplace.com. The scooter, atv or dirt bike has an engraved VIN nameplate on the it.
Engine:
- Engine long block assembly, including all internal lubricated parts, i.e. rings, pistons, pins, crankshaft and, main bearings, the connecting rods, and rod bearings, camshaft bearings, timing chain gears, rocker arms, valve springs, valve guides, valve seats, valve push rods, valve lifters, and oil pump. Additionally, the engine head(s), engine block and cylinder barrels will be covered if they are solely as a result of the mechanical failure of one or more of the internal lubricated components specified above. The Cooling system must be in good working order including cooling fans. Accessory items, including but not limited to electrical components of all types (distributor, alternator and all sensors and electrical control devices), fuel systems, gaskets, seals, filters, mounts linkage and fluids are not covered by this agreement.
Transfer Case:
- All internal lubricated parts contained within the transfer case. The transfer case itself will be covered if damaged solely as a result of the mechanical failure of one or more of the internal lubricated components contained within the transfer case. Accessory items, including but not limited to, U-joints, electrical components, linkage, seals, gaskets, mounts or fluids are not covered by this Agreement.
Differential:
- All internal lubricated parts contained within the drive axle housing case. The drive axle housing itself if damaged solely as a result of the mechanical failure of one or more or the internal lubricated components contained the drive axle housing. Accessory items, including but not limited to, backing plates, all brake system components, cables, controls, linkage, vents, pumps, U-joints, electrical controls, mounts, seals, gaskets, and fluids are not covered by this Agreement.
Transmission:
- All internal lubricated parts contained within the transmission case. The transmission case itself if damaged solely as a result of mechanical failure of one or more of the internal lubricated components contained within the transmission case. The Complete hydraulic system must be flushed including integral transfer case, oil cooler, lines, and new filter(s) installed Accessory items, including but not limited to, modulators, governors, electrical controls, linkage, mounts, seals, gaskets, and fluids are not covered by this Agreement.
You must have a professional mechanic (any small engine repair shop, motorcycle shop, or local auto repair shop) assemble your new scooter and do the prep work to assure your scooter, atv or dirt bike is in good working condition or your warranty is voided. Since scooter, atv or dirt bike are shipped overseas the mechanic may need to reconnect loose wires or tighten loose screws and or bolts that have come loose during shipping. You will need to provide proof of this when filing a warranty claim, so please keep your receipts. You must also have a professional mechanic work on your scooter, atv or dirt bike to file a claim on the warranty. Subject to the limitations stated in this agreement, Scooterpartsplace agrees (at its election) to replace a covered component if the covered component fails as a result of one or more of the internal lubricated parts within the component stated warranty period from the date of purchase, while the component is being used under the conditions and in the manner specified by its original manufacturer.
Repaired Components:
- If the components are repaired under the terms of this Agreement they will be repaired or replaced with component parts of like kind and quality.
Labor to Repair or replace Parts:
- Scooterpartsplace does not pay for labor for the removal and replacement of vehicles not serviced by us.
Important Note:
- This warranty does not include labor, wearable parts or damaged parts from accidents, abuse, or shipping. If you have a part that needs replacing, please contact us and we'll send the part within 5 days, or let you know the lead-time for the part. In some cases, the parts may have to be shipped from overseas and may take up to 8 weeks for delivery. All warranted parts must first be sent to our Parts Department, at the owner's expense, for inspection and testing for defects. Until the parts are sent to us, replacement parts will not be sent under warranty.
THIS AGREEMENT AND LIMITED WARRANTY IS VOID IF:
1 .SCOOTERPARTSPLACE IS NOT PROVIDED A REASONABLE OPPORTUNITY FOR INSPECTION OF A COVERED COMPONENT PRIOR TO REMOVAL, REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY COVERED COMPONENT.
2. THE CUSTOMER DOES NOT USE A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC (SMALL ENGINE REPAIR SHOP, MOTORCYCLE SHOP, OR AUTO REPAIR SHOP) TO ASSEMBLE AND PREP THE SCOOTER PRIOR TO OPERATION. PROOF OF THIS WILL BE REQUIRED (WITH A VERIFIABLE RECEIPT) BEFORE PARTS WILL BE REPLACED. SCOOTERPARTSPLACE WILL OFFER A 60-DAY LIMITED WARRANTY TO ANYONE ASSEMBLING THEIR OWN SCOOTER ATV OR DIRTBIKE
3. THE COMPONENTS ARE NOT INSTALLED BY A CERTIFIED LICENSED REPAIR FACILITY WITHIN 180 DAYS ( 90 DAYS FOR ATVS AND DIRTBIKES) OF THE DATE OF PURCHASE.
4. THE DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENT IS CAUSED BY A NON-COVERED COMPONENT OR PART OR BY ANY PART OR COMPONENT NOT PURCHASED FROM SCOOTERPARTSPLACE.
5. THE CUSTOMER FAILS TO FOLLOW THE MINIMUM MAINTENANCE AND BREAK-IN REQUIREMENTS SUGGESTED BY THE MANUFACTURER, AND/OR FAILS TO PROVIDE PROPER SERVICE DOCUMENTS.
6. WARRANTY IS VOID IF HEAT TABS ARE MELTED.
LIMITED WARRANTY TRANSFERABILITY This agreement is provided to the original purchaser and is non transferable.
NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR AGREEMENTS:
THERE ARE NO AGREEMENTS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN THOSE STATED IN THIS AGREEMENT. SCOOTERPARTSPLACE SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PAYMENT OF DAMAGES, OTHER THAN THE SUMS SPECIFIED IN THIS AGREEMENT AND LIMITED WARRANTY, FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM INJURY, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, RENTAL VEHICLES, PROFITS, OR INCOME TO THE CUSTOMER AS A RESULT OF A FAILURE OF ANY COMPONENT OR PART.
All towing charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.
There are no other agreements between the parties with regards to the components purchased except as stated in this agreement & limited warranty.
